Traditional Becker belt bucket elevators are suitable for dry materials at low temperatures and chain bucket elevators are used for extremely abrasive materials, high temperatures, high specific gravity, or materials that are sensitive to breakage. They are manufactured with two types of discharge: by tangential launch or spillage of materials that cannot be damaged or broken during transport, such as pellets and optionally with a self-cleaning foot.
